The Applications of the Products and Product Description

Fluorescence Image System Surgery Guide

1)
A new type of customized medical device technology
for high-precision operations

2)
A technology to realize medical welfare
for the patients after a cancer operation

3)
Provides the necessary video guidance
(for tumor removal, inflammation, cell tracking, and sentinel node mapping)
that is needed for surgery by a surgeon.

The system assists the doctors in finding a small lesion in the operation room so that they can treat them while observing them with their naked eye, as a GPS would assist a driver, in a high-precision operation that is clinically realized with our real-time, high-precision minimally-invasive support.

While NIR is not visible to our eyes and, therefore, difficult to observe, it has a wavelength band that has a higher skin penetration. Therefore, when the contrast ICG (indocyanine green) moves through the lymph nodes, it generates NIR fluorescence, which is detected and used for imaging. With this, it is now possible to determine promptly whether cancer has spread to the nodes and perform a surgical removal procedure in a short period of time.
